A complete Great Bascinet of the Chalcis type,

Height:  13.4 in/34 cm

Width:  8.5 in/21.6 cm

Depth:  9.25 in/23.5 cm

Weight:  8.6 lb/3912 g

recovered at Chalcis on the island of Euboea, Greece, made in Italy, ca. 1425-1450, housed at the Metropolitan Musuem of Art.
