I need everyone to know that there was a little Mirajane (maybe 8 years old or less) at the gathering and she was so adorable and did the perfect pouty face and when she got cold i put my coat on her (i was Laxus) and she let me hold her bridal style for the group photos and i was just dying she was the cutest little thing ever. I will post photos tomorrow <3

I have a sudden mighty need to cosplay Mirajane in her yellow Chinese dress thing she wears in the Tartaros arc.
I think next time I'm down in Little Tokyo I'ma see if they've got a yellow dress that's similar that I can modify.
Con Report:
So I got back from Comic Con last night and it was fun! I have to say, I think I had more fun at AX but I still enjoyed Comic Con very much. I cosplayed Fem! Laxus 2 days in a row though and only a few people recognized me on the first day I did it and I'm pretty sure no one except for some friends and friends of friends knew who I was the second day I did.
And then there was this one guy who said he knew who I was but never actually specified who I was and then said he was from India and new to the area and wanted to be shown around. He also asked what Comic Con was and what it was about (so I'm not sure how he would know who I was, and I am convinced he really had no idea), and I tried to explain it.
He walked with me briefly and asked what I was up to and where I was going and I said that I was headed to the Dungeons and Dragons room to play with my boyfriend and his brother. IMMEDIATELY after I said this, he said "Oh well it was nice talking to you. Goodbye." And then said more curtly "Good Bye now" like he was kinda mad? It was actually pretty funny. Also I have no idea why he was hitting on me when I was cosplayed as Fem Laxus. I mean I looked like an 80's rockstar, I wasn't wearing anything sexy.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT RANDOM TANGENT. My boyfriend and his brother, bless their souls, said my Fem! Laxus looked like an 80's rockstar. And you know what, the more I thought about Laxus and the kind of music he likes (classic rock) and the gaudy outfits and fur coat he wears AND the gaudy spikey headphones, the more I realized... That's EXACTLY what Mashima was going for.
Laxus dresses like a goddamn 80's rockstar and it's totally intentional and with my Fem! Laxus having long poofed out messy hair it adds to that effect even more. So, in light of this, I'm gonna play this up to all hell. I'm gonna find me some maroon pants and a leopard print longsleeve shirt and I'm gonna make those damn headphones and I'm gonna look as 80's rockstar as possible and it's going to be AWESOME. My boyfriend also said he approves of this cosplay way more now knowing that he's 80's rockstar inspired so that's a big plus too.
More con reports to come but yeah, 80's rockstar Fem! Laxus. This is happening.

It isn’t a real con photoset without at least one Deadpool photobomb. Also… I didn’t notice him until you said something because that Gray kinda overshadowed everyone, ahahahaha. :3

I think I might actually maybe be the ONLY Fem! Laxus cosplayer right now, or at least the very first? D8 I've been searching online and I've never seen one or even seen someone mentioning wanting to cosplay it. D8
