If Vasant is the God of Spring, who do you think are Gods/Goddesses of the other seasons?
All I could figure out was that Saraswati is called Sharada, so She's probably related to Autumn/Sharad, and that Indra and Satakshi are rain Deities.
Also, the Ambubachi Mela takes place during the Monsoon season, though I don't remember Kamakhya having much to do with rain.
Hmm that's an interesting question.
Yes Saraswati is probably related to autumn, and we can consider Varun, Satakshi and Indra as deities of monsoon perhaps. Some ppl also credit Shiva to rain so he can be in it too.
For summer I feel like solar deities take it up? Be it Mitra, Surya, Vishnu, Amsh, Ashvins or any other.
Now for winter, Hindus don't quite have any specific winter deities. We do have Vrita (yes that dude who Indra defeated) who is estimated to have represented winter before he became more related to drought and stuff, so we can consider him. Then we MIGHT consider Himavat, but again he's specifically the God of the Himalayas so again idk.
