"Magkulang ka na sa aral, huwag lang sa dasal." "Quality over quantity. It's not about the number of handouts you've answered, it's all about the mastery of that topic." "Smile. Exam lang yan." Three statements from three different professors that I will never ever forget. One is from a professor when I was a freshman in college, another is from a professor when i was in my fourth year, and the other is from a professor when I was graduating in college. Yes, my dear super senior, I would like to share these three statements to you. Your last year in AMV will be hard but I promise you that it will all be worth it once you've gotten up that stage and the presider moves your tassle from the left side to the right side of your cap. It will be worth it. I promise. You might be nervous right now as you don't know what to expect in your last year of college but don't worry, that's normal. It's normal to be anxious. But please don't let your anxiety get the best of you. Prepare well for this last battle. One. Last. Year. I am already claiming it for you. Honestly, those three statements helped me get through my last year in college. Whenever I feel that I've not studied enough, I just lift all my worries to God and He never fails. Totoo ngang, "Dasal. Dasal lang talaga." Coupled with a little bit of hardwork, of course. So my dear, don't be afraid. Trust may be a big word but that's what you have to learn, if you haven't learned it by now. Trust yourself and trust God. Trust that you can do this and trust that He can get you through this. Whenever I would see my batchmates have this numerous handouts from different review centers in their hands, I would always remember what one of my professors told us, 'quality over quantity' and that would calm me. Because honestly, seeing them with that much materials and comparing it with what I have is very disheartening. Yes. I don't have that much handouts because I am not an 'all-nighter' kind of person therefore, I don't get to answer a lot. Hehehe. Please don't drown yourself with materials that you know you won't have the time to answer. It would just make you extra nervous for the exams whenever you would think that you weren't able to finish every handout you have. Know yourself and know your limits. It would surely help a lot. Although, I am not saying that having a lot of handouts are bad. If you have the luxury of time/energy to answer a lot of handouts, then by all means, go. Answer them. It really helps too. Of course, AMV being AMV, a hard exam is very inevitable. Yes, you'll experience more hard exams in your last year. Of course, they won't let you go that easily. Loljk! Seriously though, it helps if you don't dwell too much on a hard exam. It would just ruin your day. One of those statements helped me, especially in my last semester in college, whenever I had a hard exam. After every hard exam, I smile. Fool yourself that it wasn't that hard, that you're still able to smile despite that hard exam. It applies in life too, just smile despite those hard challenges you're experiencing right now. Smile. Fool your mind and you'll eventually find yourself being so positive despite every hard hurdle. So my dear super senior, this is it. One last year. Good luck, dear, on your last year. Cherish it. It will be a series of lasts for you. You can do it. Just smile. Do your best. And let God do the rest. :) Mission BSAxCPA2017!!! Praying for you, ♡♡♡
