Did you hear that Netflix is working on developing a LIVE ACTION THE LEGEND OF ZELDA series for their streaming service?
I just heard about it today! Assuming it actually goes somewhere (as I understand it, it's just a proposed idea that still needs Nintendo's approval--someone correct me if I'm wrong), I'm going to reserve judgment until I actually see it. There was a cartoon adaptation of LoZ that resulted in Link being rather OOC (which was odd, because the Super Mario cartoon it was paired with was actually rather good in regards to the characterizations).
On the other hand, if they actually pull it off and do it right, it could be amazing. The biggest challenge will be finding the right voice for Link (something which the cartoon decidedly failed in).
Personally, I'd like to see something along the lines of Hyrule Warriors, with Zelda being a more active role. I am curious regardless and will be following this news!
