I made a podfic based on my fanfic of Crack The Whip, and I am So Happy with how it came out! There are Whip sounds, kid Jin Ling is a Pride and Joy, and I am a sucker for any excuse to sing. I honestly want anyone and everyone to hear it because I am so proud of it. *^_^*

Okay, headcannon time. So, Lan Jingyi is unique. He is loud, crass, and extra af. He 100% does not seem to fit into the Lan image and no one seems to do anything about it.

Aside from him mentioning punishment one time, and that was when they forgot their signals (something they actually never got punished for) everyone seems to just accept Jingyi how he is and let's him do whatever. Shizhui might point out that he needs to calm down but again, nothing really comes of this.

Why?

Lan Jingyi is one of Hanguang-Jun's disciples. Although he wasn't raised by him like Shizhui, we can assume he has learned most of what he knows about Cultivation from him. And for a kid like Jingyi, I guarantee Wangji had a soft spot.

He is wild, loud, and constantly breaking rules but he still has a good sense of morals and justice and he is so much like Wei Wuxian used to be.

So of course he is going to give him special treatment. He won't punish Jingyi (unless he actually deserved it) and everyone knows it, because he doesn't want Jingyi to lose his spark. He doesn't want to see another ember burn out, like he had to with Wuxian.

Anyway thanks for coming to my Ted Talk and honestly I'm sure I'm not the first person to make this observation, but hey, this blog hasn't existed that long so please give me a break.

Remembering one time my family and I were on a flight, and my aunt told us that she and her family had first class. I was upset, but I did try to be a good sport about it. She told me first class had cool drinks and karaoke, and I was Very, Very jealous but trying so, so hard to be a good sport about it. X'D

Then, when we got on the plane, my family and I got into our seats, then my aunt and her family passed us to get into the seats further in the back. I was Very Worried, and I asked what happened to first class. My aunt said she used the karaoke too much and got kicked out. Thing is, she was smiling, so I thought she was just OK with that sequence of events. I felt bad about being jealous and was silently upset for a bit about it.

It didn't even occur to me that she was pulling my leg until years later. ^^;

I was 14.

There was never a choice.

But Killua didn’t know that until it was too late.

There wasn’t a choice from the moment Gon’s eyes locked with his. Not after Gon showed up bruised and beaten twenty different ways in the butlers’ headquarters just to see him. Not when Gon shouted “I’m allowed to do it, but you aren’t!” and stated with such confidence “It has to be Killua”. Even during those darkest moments in that sham of a palace surrounded by rubble and death hanging in the air, Killua knew he had followed Gon to the end of the world because it was Gon and Killua couldn’t say no.

Loving Gon had never been a choice. The realization hit him in the chest exactly one month after saying goodbye at the World Tree, when he woke up too early in a hotel room without his best friend shaking him awake so they could run off on another adventure. 

It hurt. More than he could say. But even if he had been given the choice, Killua knew would choose to fall in love with Gon all over again.

I usually find your comics whenever I peruse the mdzs tags, and I gotta say that they're really adorable. I hope you have as much fun making them as we have looking at them!

it's really nice to have that lil series just going. with my day job, sidelines, commissions & other hobbies, it's v nice that there's no pressure whatsoever to have like, an update schedule or a certain quality,,, and i'm just really sharing whatever random idea or comic or meme for that AU when the inspiration strikes. ^-^ <3

Uhhhhhh I feel like I'm gonna get murdered for this one but uh 😅 Doof is one of my least favorites of the main cast. Don't get me wrong, I love him dearly, but I just....don't feel the same about him that the rest of the fandom seems to?

I wish there was an option for like "would want this character to be my parent" or something bc genuinely my favorite thing about Doof is what a wonderful father he is, and how deep down he's just such a genuinely caring person. Like my favorite character moments of his are when he's being a Dad™, and not just to Vanessa (his genuine smile after Buford leaves in BBB, the way he interacted with Isabella in CATU, how he worked with all the kids in NotLP, etc).

NGL I think most of my indifference for him now definitely comes from how obsessed the fandom is with him over the literal title characters. He's a great dad and a fun character, but I personally think he's overused both in the show and in fandom. Doesn't mean I don't like him though!
