Day 8 at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm
Today I arrived at 7:45, 15 minutes before I was meant to start. I was dressed the way I was asked to dress at the start of my placement this shows I have stuck to the code of conduct.. The first thing I was asked to do today was feed and water the animals in the animal village then once that was completed we started mucking out the show pens then we got the animals in from their fields.. Next I was asked by the owner to put animal in the food into bags for the public to buy. It was now time for the show, I didn't have an animal but I helped at the bottle feed. After I was asked to poo pick the pony and donkey field once that was completed I done a bit of handling then went onto full up the hay m. After lunch I went on the tractor ride as there wasn't enough passengers for it to be able to go, I was then put back into handling I was then asked to make up the milk to bottle feed the lambs, as the lambs were being fed by the public two or he lambs were down in another pen away from the public.. I had to feed the other two lambs as they are small to be fed by the public. It then came around to 4 this is when the animals have to be taken back to their fields, we first took back the goats and sheep then the ponies and donkeys, as all of the jobs for the day got completed we got told to go home early.
