Future!Dean has a proposal: he will retrieve Dean’s soul from Hell and temporarily house it in his own body, alongside his own. If Sam can figure out how to re-soul and heal his brother’s body (and Future!Dean assures him he can do that because he’s done it in the future), then Sam gets his brother back, all in one piece. No angels needed, thank you very much. Sam’s more than a little freaked out, but agrees because he’s ready to try anything to get Dean out of Hell.
