A second attempt at animating a hexapodal gallop for centaur aliens. It needs more refining, but I feel it’s more intuitive than the last sprint I animated. I’d like to push it to feel faster with more airtime.
Talita's max speed is about 120kph at 0.8g, but she's a really athletic person. For nomadic centaurs (Talita's ethnicity) the average would be closer to 90kph. For settler centaurs, the average is 110kph with a preposterous 145kph in the upper percentile, but that's during very short bursts. The settler ethnicities generally have a high top sprint speed and poor endurance. The nomad ethnicities have better walking endurance, but humans still beat them at endurance running/jogging (under similar gravity conditions...)

I miss having time to animate... I’ve gotten a lot better at rotating Talita’s head since last fall, and her design is more solid and consistent now. IDK what she's reacting to, you'll have to use your imagination.
