I’ve been looking at Breton tunes a lot lately, trying to find one to fit into my upcoming set. So this is nice and timely to have suggested to me by YouTube. Granted I didn’t expect to hear an ancient Breton tune on a Chapman stick, but it works. It has an 8-bit quality to it, actually. It makes me nostalgic. ^^;

A friend of mine who is a hurdy gurdy player and knows much more about Breton music than I do has told me that there are a billion Breton tunes called “An Dro” which means basically ‘a dance’ and there was pretty much one for every village.
