hal’s being somewhat not allowed to lie/ create “non canon” scenarios is interesting and is obvs a precursor to doc scratch’s no lying thing. because hal does a lot of plot lifting, if she says something false, that sorta diminishes her credibility for the one thing she was made to exist for. i mean deception is very much on the table, and she doesnt correct a lot of the false image dirk paints against her, but also like, pointing to how caliborn said he didnt want her drawings because she’s “not real”.

Everett’s (not) secret playlist has been found!

... It isn’t really that hidden. He has it as a Ninth World equivalent of a Mix Tape CD on top of his desk, with the word “secret” written on top of it with sharpie. To be polite though, we decided to ask Everett, who then went on about how much he hates each and every one of these songs, and how really uncooool they are, yet start humming them a second later under his breath and when he thought no one was looking.
