Be Honest

When the doctor asks you to be honest,

they tell you it will be okay,

they tell you to just talk.

What they don't say is it's a test,

if you don't pass they ship you away

to the hospital where they barely let you walk.

The nurses stare,

you're long past the point of escape.

Now you're in the psychologists care,

they listen writing your prescriptions and their reports,

you now get to leave "fixed", a combination of medication and tape.
