Looking through the Tumblr tag, there are two kinds of people who read/see or have read/seen “An Triail” by Máiréad Ní Ghráda. 

The first kind (which seems to be people who learn Irish because they want to) sees the beauty in the book, and notes how the play’s message still rings true today.

The second kind (which is comprised entirely of actual Irish students) hate the bloody thing and wish the SEC would just feck off and not make us read some boring fucking play.
