Water balloon fight - who will win??
There is always a great calm before a calamitous storm. The water is serene, the sun is warm, and the grass sways in the gentle breeze. When catastrophe strikes it’s almost never expected, and one must hold on to their strength and weather the worst.
“Are you sure you’re playing this right?” Honey asked. “Why wouldn’t I be? I watch chess matches all the time,” Lex replied. Honey looked confused and studied the chessboard more closely. “I only ask because you’re winning, and that doesn’t seem right to me.”
It was late, everyone arrived home safely and the kids passed out almost immediately. Ana and Seon-Mi were in the midst of getting ready for bed when Ana laid on the bed and stayed there. “Hun? Ana?” Seon-Mi’s voice was soft, gently coaxing Ana from dozing.
“Wha-?” Ana barely woke up, her voice deep with sleepiness. Seon-Mi laughed quietly, Ana’s eyes were still closed and she couldn’t get over how adorable she was. “Can I lay with you? Or would you not like to cuddle?” Ana turned over and pulled Seon-Mi in for a hug. “C’mere doofus.”
