Into my head just came an idea that Anakin almost falls to the dark side but comes to his senses but still commits something irreversible. And of course managed to have a huge argument with Obi-Wan beforehand. And Obi-Wan despite his love stilltakes it hard and blames himself obviously. And at some point intersects with Anakin and says something like "I'm glad you came to your senses and got help but I don't want to see you right now." Because the wounds are too fresh because he is afraid that Anakin will again pull something that will hurt like hell. And like he needs to help support him but resentment, anger, principles and the desire to protect himself at this moment are stronger. In the end of course they discuss everything and come together.
I'm almost sure that there are a lot of illogicalities here but I'm writing this late at night and specifically right now everything is logical to me
