"What? It's just paper. One scientist to another, right?" He snickers, slapping his back, perhaps a little too hard. "Relax, Gus. You can be a lil' high strung."
"They're important research papers..." He began to explain, but was promptly cut off by the hard smack to his back. Inching away from the man, he crouched to gather the fallen materials. Hearing that nickname that he disliked so much, Augustine peeked up at the towering man, wondering why he was acting so strangely.
"Are you quite alright, Manny? You seem... off?"
Was he perhaps ill? Or under the influence of something? The professor wanted to find out.
