Apropos of my last two reblogs, I have often thought that it would be a nice thing once my ship came in to treat myself to a decent wristwatch. I've missed wearing them and it's easier than fumbling for the nearest cellphone to look at the time. And yes, the tactile aspect adds another layer of enjoyment as well.

Having said all of that, I don't think I need the GDP of a small country to get what I need and want. While I admire that sort of watch from a distance...I prefer something that has a story and doesn't require me to give up a kidney. I've had my eye on Baltany's replica "Dirty Dozen" watches partly for this reason.
