I was tagged by @z-oologystudy to put my music on shuffle and screenshot the first ten songs!
As you can see, my taste in music is pretty weird. But heyy 😆 this is who I am! Cage the elephant is my absolute favourite, I listen to their music like 24/7…
I tag: @perspectlief, @plant-read-study, @studying-papers, @analyctics , @dotgrids @jessastudy , @milkystudies , @thedutchstudent , @succulentstudy
although my spread for the last week of april is all yellow and sunny, it was raining and cloudy all week 😭

For the month of March, I did the #30daysofbiblelettering challenge. These are my favorite spreads from the month 🌿💚 So far, I have learned a lot throughout this challenge. From the amazing bible passages that has drawn me closer to the Lord, and also my hand lettering style. You can probably see it change as the days go by!
Have you ever been on a language learning streak for a while, but then gradually stopped because of of factors such as procrastination? no motivation? or just busy with other school work?
Many of us, including me are always stuck in limbo with language learning so therefore, I am making this short post with a few of my tips that might help you get back on track!
I have a separate youtube video on this already, so if you would rather watch that, click the link here!
disclaimer: this is not a post on how to start a new language. This is for those who have already started learning a language but stopped because of said factors above and more. Thank you!!!
Why do you want to learn this language again? Do you want to keep learning this language?
If you have stopped learning a language for a long period of time and having thoughts of wanting to learn it again, what is keeping you from not learning? And/or what is urging you to learn again? Take a moment to ask yourself if you want to continue learning your target language. Since learning a language does require a lot of dedication and practice, it is up to you if you think you can keep going or move on.
List the things you would like to review/improve/learn again
It is evident that you will loose a few skills such as vocabulary, grammar, sentence structures, etc. if you haven’t practiced a language in a while. By writing down the things you would like to improve on, not only would you know what should be improved but also a basic foundation before getting back on track! Without listing things, you would be overwhelmed with all the possible information you can learn and you would feel like getting back to learning a language again would be too much to take in. Start small, build a foundation, and work your way up.
Review things you are unsure of
Go over any fundemental chapters or notes you seem a bit unfamilar with. You don’t have to read them throughly (unless you want to, then go ahead!), you can just skim through a few points in a chapter to refresh your memory. If you know for sure that you have completely forgotten the material, of course it is best to review the chapter/notes over again.
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!
It is said a lot, and it’s true. Sometimes we don’t have time to sit down and read a book, or look at language learning PDFs and that’s okay (I understand bc i never have time ;-;)! Practice using such things like apps, games, and so much more! Since we live in such a technological world, social media basically controls our lives. If you follow people on social media that speak your target language, read their captions! This is honestly my favorite way to practice reading in target language, and also helps you learn words and expand your vocabulary! Since most of us are already on social media almost every single day, you can read in your target language almost every single day, which means you would be practicing every single day!!!!!
I hope this will give you a little boost to get up and continue to learn your target language again. It’s okay if there are days where you don’t feel like studying, take a break and get back on it! Take it slow, and progress will show!
