helloo~ I’m Promise and this is my second studyblr, but my very first intro post! i decided to create a new blog because I am currently taking a gap semester, but i will be starting my freshman year of community college and i just wanted a fresh start.
basics:
i am 18 years old
i am taking a gap semester, but will be starting school january of 2020
i plan to be an international business major with a minor in korean, japanese, or chinese (korean preferably)
my username comes from my korean name :)
interests:
photography; i first became interested in photography my sophomore year of high school and i’m not that good at it, but i love capturing landscapes.
music; i love all kinds of music, tho i mostly&b and the occasional trot song
languages and culture; i am very casually studying several languages (japanese, tagalog, ukrainian, nepali, etc) tho i am trying to actively study at least korean and maybe spanish. my dream is to one day live in korea.
food; though i plan to work out, i love trying different foods and learning the history behind certain dishes and trying to recreate them at home.
goals:
study korean and spanish diligently; my goal is to be level A2 in at least on of the languages in the next 18 months.
raise my test scores and gpa; i plan to transfer to unc so hopefully i can raise my gpa and test scores so that i can get accepted.
re-memorise the japanese alphabet; specifically hirigana and katakana. japanese culture had a big influence in my childhood and i hope to one day become fluent in japanese.
a poem a day; i haven’t read a published book in a long time, but i really want to start reading and writing poetry again, so a goal of mine is to read at least one poem each day.
