[RELIGION] Athamist Temple Defaced With Prothean Iconography

via Thessian Daily A temple of Athame has been defaced in the city-republic of Dassus on Thessia, by what can be described as a ‘religious extremist’. The vandalous defacer was caught in the act by security. The detention of the vandal was also caught on video, recorded by a tourist visiting the same temple. Upload of the video has made the rounds on the Extranet already, but it also offers a possible cause for the act of painting over the old frescoes of Athame - a belief that she was really a Prothean. “Athame was prothean! Just look at Javik- the priesthood lied to us! This is the real restoration- Stop! That’s my paint-” quote the vandal on the recording. Whether her theories are true or not, the current caretakers of the temple, Reefsong University Dassus, are dismayed by the damage caused to the thousands-years-old fresco.
