“The Cloud” (S01E05, Stardate 48546.2) is a quieter episode that combines a sci-fi story with a twist (the nebula is actually alive!) and an exploration of the crew finally beginning to realize just how alone they are. Small pieces like the dwindling energy supply help make this feel real. 

I had one other idea for this episode poster, but this one won out pretty quickly.
