Perugia (Umbria). Piazza Matteotti. Palazzo delle poste (1911). Liberty style (floral). Dense of frescoes (Brugnoli), stuccos, decorations, sculptures, artistic wrought iron and griffins. Built in the place of Palazzo Meniconi, which housed the Mint and the first Civic Library, which was adjacent to the eighteenth century Pescheria in neoclassical forms with characteristic Doric colonnade, called "the temple of the lasche". Perugia is a particular city, with a very large historical center, but with its peculiarities concentrated in a relatively small space. Like other cities, Bergamo and Chieti for all, there is a high (ancient) and a low (modern) city. Just jumped down from the minimetro (an experience that too - photo 2) was projected in Piazza Matteotti.
