My summer has been filled with museums, trying to better my diet whilst simultaneously barely leaving my house. It’s been fairly quiet and tbh I’m bored of it. I can't wait to start my MA in September and get back to a routine of keeping busy!! I need to get back to it. In the meantime, maybe I start learning a language? I’ve been thinking of starting French again but what are your thoughts? ✨

Hi, I’m new to the studyblr community and I made this blog because a) it motivates and inspires me to study, and b) I haven’t seen a lot of other studyblrs run by archaeology majors.

 About me 
• You can call me Klu, I’m 19 and a college sophomore. I’m just about done with my associate’s (a semester early yay!) 
• I’m an archaeology major with a geography/Japanese minor 
• I travel as much as I can and just got back form studying abroad in Europe over the summer. Starting in January I’ll be studying in Japan and I’m SUPER excited so expect some Japanese langblr posts/reblogs. 
• I’m the daughter of a veterinarian and wildlife biologist, lots of passion for animal rights! 

 Interests
 • I love art and painting/drawing so I’m going to try and make every illustration in my journals myself rather than printing things off. Not sure how long that will last thanks to carpal tunnel.  • Hiking, camping, rock climbing, anything outdoors because I live in the mountains • History and archaeology obviously • Anime (mostly horror and action genres)

i cant pick just one, so i’ll say my faves. the big short, bambi, a league of their own, the bee movie, dear white people and dream girls.

if you could learn anything at all, what would it be?

would it be cliche to say volleyball? but one that i actually can play is football

favourite season and why?

autumn! cold enough to be a person but still sunny and i love the autumn colours. it’s also the season where you go back to school and start a new leaf!

best experience you’ve had?

travelling back to philippines and discovering seoul for the first time on the way.

print books because i have a hard time concentrating

occasionally, but it depends on what i’m doing because i really cannot read and listen to music

Hi everyone! 

I’m moving out into my own apartment soon, so I figured I could do with a monthly planner above my desk. I personally loved the whole leaf theme and as my favourite colour is green I incorporated that into it!

Where do you get your stationary/supplies? Also how do you take notes? I'm trying to find a way to be more organized.

hmm, I don’t really have one specific place I go to for stationery supplies! I do like to try places like Paperchase (for files and pretty notebooks), Tesco/Sainsbury’s (for pens and normal notebooks), Amazon (for my mildliners), and other places like Etsy and I’ve bought a few things from KawaiiPenShop.com.

I take notes on my macbook in lectures, then when I come home I retype them up neatly, print and highlight them, then make my own flashcards for that topic and place them in a file. I also like to rewrite notes sometimes instead of retyping them, it takes a while but it helps me retain information a bit better! 

I also use a bullet journal (I use a midori travellers notebook from Etsy), which I use to write down important dates and lists of things that I need to do. I also have a planner for my budgeting and other important things that I won’t need to carry with me every day.
