A mindset shift that changed everything
You know that feeling when you're staring at something you can't figure out and your brain just goes "nope. can't do it. i'm not built for this"?
yeah. that's where i lived for way too long.
Here's what helped: swapping one phrase for another.
"I can't do this" → "I'm still learning how to do this"
that's it. three extra words. but somehow those words crack the whole thing open.
because "i can't" is a door slamming shut. "i'm learning" is a door you get to walk through at your own pace. You're allowed to be figuring it out in real time. you're allowed to not have all the answers yet.
try this affirmation when you catch yourself in that spiral:
"I'm learning. I'm improving. I'm proud of how far I've come."
the process counts. every attempt counts. you're doing better than you think🌱
what's something you're still learning to be patient with yourself about?
