Sorry for the lack of posts! Still settling in and getting used to living in Japan but I had time to put this together and also do a watercolor sketch. There’s a lovely canal below my balcony for taking cute pics ♡ Everything’s kind of a hot mess but hopefully it’s all sorted soon and I can start consistently journaling again~

T - 6 hours

Leaving for Japan to study abroad soon! Super nervous but also excited! I’m really gonna miss my friends but I know I’ll make a lot of new ones too. I’ve been talking with my speaking partner and she seems super nice, can’t wait to meet her~

And I’m sorry I’ve been lacking in the original post department for a while! I’ve been so busy preparing but I’ll be sure to get some updates with cute pics up within the next few weeks.

Some BS happened on campus yesterday so I’m participating in the counter protest this week, I’ve also become an ambassador for Planned Parenthood! AND in a few hours there will be a multi city council meeting to discuss creating Indigenous Peoples Day and have it be held on Columbus Day so I’m about to head to that. Later this month is a BLM meeting too, lots of activism happening this fall, and this shitty red state needs it!

Schoolwork isn’t always the most important, take action whenever you can to try and make the world better!
