I hadn't received any email notifications for your updates on FFN for ages now, while ao3 notifications still worked, and I was wondering what was up with that. thought i might have somehow accidentally clicked unfollow or something but no, i'm still following you? anyways, did you know ffn apparently defaults to no email notifications now AND will reset to no emails again after 6 months, bc i sure didn't! 💀 I'm glad I follow you in ao3 too bc PHEW the number of updates I would've missed.

Hi anon! Yeah, I think I also remember seeing something about that FFN email notification thing from a stray Twitter/Tumblr post somewhere?? Which is kind of wild, honestly, and I'm not sure why they chose to change that...

But yes, going forward I will be using Ao3! FFN has its issues, and I really can't say I'm a fan of the +200% ads everywhere.

I'm still debating what to do with my older fics on FFN. Not sure if I'll move them over to Ao3, or just leave as-is, since the majority are discontinued anyways. Maybe under 'cabbage patch,' or something along those lines? We'll see.
