IM WATCHING KARATE KID AND ITS SO GOOD AND CUTE IM GIGGLING
Erm…. That was a beeline for Mark?
i kind of love the old man out of everyone in the cast
I wanted to draw some Don’t Click fanart, but since I can’t draw humans at all, I decided to draw the Don’t Click (and Omission) cast(s) as Eevee/ Eeveelutions. (Sorry this is so long ._.)
I drew Eden and Digi together since they feel like counterparts to me, both going from void to void and moving people, but Digi being framed as “evil” and Eden being framed as “good.” Digi is an Umbreon because they’re both “dark,” and Eden is a Leafeon as a reference to the garden of Eden.
Since there were two blue Eeveelutions, I could chose between Vaporeon and Glaceon for Cloud (I mean, Cloud has to be blue, right?) Anyway, I chose Glaceon because Cloud was kind of icy when we came back after being gone (pun intended.)
I could imagine Ella using psychic powers as an Espeon to learn information, and I gave her a “fun fact” box to mirror her in the comic.
I know that Charles and Frank are technically from Omission and not Don’t Click, but shut up, I’m drawing them. I imagine Charles as a Jolteon because of his energy, and Frank as a Vaporeon since he seems calm and doesn’t seem to have much effect on Charles’ energy (water isn’t very effective against electric.) P.S. I totally messed up Charles’ eye, and have no way to fix it ;-;
Honestly my favorite and the only real scene I made, I have Star Keeper as a Sylveon (because they’re so sweet and I love them) and Star Giver as an Eevee (because they have so much potential to be anyone/ anything.) And of course, I had to draw them with the stars!
And finally, since there’s 8 Eeveelutions (+Eevee) and I only used 7, I didn’t want to leave anybody out, so I ended up drawing Alilynx as a Flareon. She’s probably on Tumblr answering our dumb questions on her computer or something in this picture idk
Author’s Notes: OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH HECK IT HAPPENED EVERYBODY LOOK LOOK LOOK--
My god, the amount of thought you put into all this is insane. I’m ecstatic you found a place for everyone in ways that fit so well, I don’t know my stuff about Pokemon but I’m officially convinced I have to know everything that exists because all this immediately intrigues me. And, as expected, they’re all extremely adorable as Pokemon (I don’t care if they’re not supposed to be adorable, they’re extremely huggable in my eyes)... I want to give them the world and love them, thank you for giving us this opportunity. (●´□`)♡
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
Nahri has never believed in magic. Certainly, she has power; on the streets of eighteenth-century Cairo, she’s a con woman of unsurpassed talent. But she knows better than anyone that the trades she uses to get by—palm readings, zars, and a mysterious gift for healing—are all tricks, both the means to the delightful end of swindling Ottoman nobles and a reliable way to survive.
But when Nahri accidentally summons Dara, an equally sly, darkly mysterious djinn warrior, to her side during one of her cons, she’s forced to reconsider her beliefs. For Dara tells Nahri an extraordinary tale: across hot, windswept sands teeming with creatures of fire and rivers where the mythical marid sleep, past ruins of once-magnificent human metropolises and mountains where the circling birds of prey are more than what they seem, lies Daevabad, the legendary city of brass—a city to which Nahri is irrevocably bound.
In Daevabad, within gilded brass walls laced with enchantments and behind the six gates of the six djinn tribes, old resentments run deep. And when Nahri decides to enter this world, her arrival threatens to ignite a war that has been simmering for centuries.
Spurning Dara’s warning of the treachery surrounding her, she embarks on a hesitant friendship with Alizayd, an idealistic prince who dreams of revolutionizing his father’s corrupt regime. All too soon, Nahri learns that true power is fierce and brutal. That magic cannot shield her from the dangerous web of court politics. That even the cleverest of schemes can have deadly consequences.
After all, there is a reason they say to be careful what you wish for…
