Everyone has their own opinion and I respect yours but as a fan of Sasha I'm just curious,, what did she do?

Before I even get into this, let me just say I respect people’s choice to like Sasha and I’m in no way, shape, or form trying to talk anyone out of that and I do not mean to start any type of war over this. I’m just gonna state some things that have happened that lead me to say that no, Sasha is not an ally nor a LGBT+ icon. Unfortunately, some of these things happened a while ago and I have since lost the receipts but I’ll do my best to find them.

First things first and the number one reason I stopped being a die-hard fan of Sasha’s is the fact that she’s liked a transphobic post on Instagram which was a screenshot of a news article titled “Transgender girl says she is rejected by straight guys for ‘having male parts’” captioned “This shit needs to stop. Stop making yourself out to be the victim once a guy finds out you have a penis. That’s false adversiting. You would be just as pissed if you bought a Ferrari and under the hood was a Ford engine. I have nothing but support for transgender community.. You should be free to live your life as you wish, but let’s not kid ourselves and say that transitioning into a woman with a penis should turn me on as much as a woman with a vagina. Cut the crap.”, and it’s not hard to see how this can be harmful to the transgender community (I just had to dig to find these receipts but here they are).

Apparently things like this have happened again but I, personally, haven’t witnessed them (source).

While this was happening, fans commented on Sasha’s posts, urging her to address this issue, but she never did and instead liked some shady posts on Instagram that implied she’d seen the comments but had no intentions whatsoever of addressing her problematic behavior and, in fact, believed she was right and had done nothing harmful (sounds oddly familiar).

Additionally, one of Sasha’s friends took to Twitter to invalidate the feelings of Sasha’s fans and support Sasha’s behavior (I very clearly remember this happening because I liked Sasha’s friend and followed her closely, but I have since unfollowed her and lost the tweets “*Passively comparing the LGBT community to animals, basically saying just because someone likes one animal (gays, presumably), doesn't mean they like the rest.” according to a source of mine who also remembers the incident; Update: source).

Flash forward, Hudson, Sasha’s boyfriend, rudely replied to a girl’s comments on Instagram, fatshaming her (something Sasha has been through), and, rather than calling out her own boyfriend for bullying someone the same way she’s been bullied, Sasha supported his behavior after he was called out by her fans, going as far as saying she was disappointed in the comments she saw, as if people have to forgive him.

Sasha has never once addressed any LGBT+ rights issues on social media. Before anyone starts with the whole “Sasha doesn’t like social media” discourse, she doesn’t have any trouble voicing her support towards most national holidays. In addition, Sasha has never significantly supported LGBT+ rights outside of social media either. Yes, I’m aware she played a role in G.B.F., has played Alison DiLaurentis, and has gay friends. That doesn’t make her an ally. And before anyone says Ashley hasn’t voiced her opinion on these issues either - jot that down, she’s supported marriage equality and while Ashley doesn’t usually post about anything political ever, Sasha is selective about what she wants to post.

Even though Sasha was, in times, very supportive of Emison, she’s also bad-mouthed the ship a couple of times (unsure whether or not it was a PR thing). Again, she was supportive of Emison and Alison’s journey discovering herself, but that was the full extent of her “support” of LGBT+ rights.

As I’ve said before, I respect her fans as I respect most people, and even though I’m no longer a fan of hers I still respect her as an individual and an actress. However, I’m not too fond of people who give her a free pass to be problematic just because she’s been bullied in the past. If anything, I believe she should be more sensitive and respectful, and listen when people voice that her actions/words have hurt them.

All in all, these are some of the reasons why I don’t feel comfortable with people addressing Sasha as an ally or LGBT+ icon. As a lesbian, I do feel offended that someone who’s shown transphobic behavior in the past (and has not apologized or grown from it) is praised by the LGBT+ community and deemed an icon. Honestly, I don’t accept it, and it ticks me off immensely.

I’m six feet under already from that 0.5 sec clip, you can see Emily is walking backwards so if Alison is leading her/Emily is leading Alison towards the bed I am going to collapse. I was initially hoping Alison would back Emily against a wall because I’m trashy as fuck but holy shit am I ready to die. I wanna know the context of this right now immediately!

What do you mean it's not a spin off

By its definition, a spin off is:

1. A book or series based off another series. 2. A series character getting their own series after the first series is completed.

Marlene’s new work is not an Emison/PLL spin off. From what has been said, her new work is based off of The Perfectionists by Sara Shepard, which has a completely separate plot from PLL. Even though the show is rumored to feature two characters from PLL (assumed to be Emily and Alison by the fans, despite not being confirmed), the show is still not a PLL spin off, let alone an Emison spin off, just because two characters are moving into it. Even then, the show will not be about them and it’s likely they won’t be main characters. I, personally, try not to call it a spin off and I think other people should as well because this fandom is getting ridiculously high expectations on what this will end up being, and we know what that leads to.

oh boy i wanted to make this video for so long, and now when emison is finally endgame it took every scene, even small ones that i think are important to make it a real story. So i think the video will be around 2 hours maybe 2.5 damn
