“Suzanne Collins wrote SOTR because of snow edits” what if I said Suzanne Collins saw people equating certain queer aesthetics/drag art to Capitol citizens and/or equating a love of fashion/makeup/appearance to the Capitol, and then wrote Maysilee Donner to clear things up.
