I honestly hope dumb doesn’t try to be a hero. He’s seemed so happy but the second it was brought up he was almost immediately miserable. I feel like his reasoning for not wanting to though explains a lot, and like it’s reasonable. If he does end up being a hero I hope it’s willingly and for the better.
no exactly anon you get me. its such a huge pressure put onto them specifically, and especially knowing the past history they've had being in this hero position either a) leading to them fumbling and fucking up and losing or b) losing themself and going power hungry and fucking things up, it is genuinely for the better that they don't say yes.
but, well, dumb at their core is a person who cares a lot. and yes, they don't have an attachment to this world and most of the people in it, they care about hazel and they care about stormz and if that is weaponized against them they could probably be swindled. but i don't think either of those two would want that, hazel clearly didn't want to push/overstep and was just doing what she thought was right, and stormz very obviously just wants dumb to enjoy their time on bliss.
