A scene that's on my mind right now

(TW: Child Neglect) So there is an episode in Craig of The Creek where Jason has to go home with Craig because he's basically been left home alone/forgotten about by his parents. Craig is convinced and hopeful his mom will say no.

But when his mom calls his parents, she has this face of she's had to talk to too many parents like this before as a teacher. Like her kids are unaware of the fact that Jason is being neglected but she knows and it makes me cry.
