Tanselle looked at Egg, who was looking stoic as a nine-year-old possibly could while also crying. She felt like crying herself. "Sir, we're so close—"

"Yes, you are," he replied kindly, which was almost worse. "But I cannot run this story on 'close.' You need—"

"Do you have those dates?" It was Dunk who spoke, leaning over the desk and plucking the papers from Mr. Targaryen's hands with a muttered, "thanks."

Tanselle felt her stomach drop to her stomach. "Dunk," she hissed.

"Mr. Arlensen," Egg squeaked, "Erm—"

"No, sorry, just—" Dunk pulled out his mobile and flipped through the pages, muttering to himself while Mr. Targaryen stared up at him with other shock, lust, or plans to have Dunk flung out of a helicopter at his earliest convenience. With Mr. Targaryen it was very hard to tell.

"Dunk," she tried again.

"Hah! Got you, you fuck," Duncan announced triumphantly, and slammed the paper back down on the desk. "There. The thirtieth, yeah?" And he held his mobile triumphantly in front of Mr. Targaryen's face.

Mr. Targaryen squinted at it, then up at Dunk. "I'm afraid I have no idea what I'm looking at."

Dunk made a irritated snort and swung toward Tanselle. "You remember that stupid beer app your uncle was obsessed with last year?" he said. "Brewed, only it's spelled with no E's so it sounds like brwd, and I blame Tumblr for starting that trend of taking out perfectly respectable vowels from perfectly respectable words in order to optimize the SEO or whatever the fuck—"

"Sweetheart," Tanselle tried, because once distracted by spelling or grammar Dunk could go on for hours.

"Right, sorry." He held the screen out for her again. "Steffon's one of their fucking power users, whatever that means. He checked in at that pub you said Aerion went to on the thirtieth. And guess what," he said, practically wriggling with glee, and Tanselle had been dating him for six years and had never wanted to stick her tongue down his throat as much as she did right now, "the stupid fuck took a picture."

He tapped something on the app and a photo appeared of a table strewn with empty and half-empty glasses. And across the table from him, blurry but still easily recognizable, was Aerion Targaryen.

"Also, he's got shit taste in beer," Dunk added, making a face. "IPAs, really? You know the Fossoways make cider, and he's wasting his palate on fucking IPAs. The man's a disgrace. Mostly for the grand larceny," he added hastily.

As much as I love dunkaerion with like ten thousand babies and Aerion always fucking pregnant

I would love Dunk being all the fucking time pregnant in the road with Egg looking after him worried because, how the fuck he ended up becoming an older brother/uncle a such young age?!

The thing is that all the babies are born very little, but some at the few days are already baby titans while other take months to be as big as their siblings, also Dunk never shows ❤️

Like he's having babies left and right and all of them are from a different dad, Egg wishes that all the Valyrian looking babies/children are from Daeron (one of them is, the others aren't)

Each baby's daddy is like worried about Dunk going in the wild and battle and fighting with so many little ones around but surprisingly, the kids and Dunk are always fine (Dunk not so much, but he manages)

He names the first one after Ser Arlan (the next after Rafe too) and to the following he talks about it with Egg (always after he already gave birth because he didn't know he was pregnant so there's like Egg returning from getting wood for their fire and there's Dunk with a bloody ass newborn in his arms)

By the time Egg is a teen, he has lots of experience with children and in the future he becomes an even better father and everyone lives happily ever after
