So, I know a lot of people do follow forevers or give aways when they reach milestones (and ngl this is one that I’ve thirsted over for a while), but I’m not going to do that rn. All of you guys have made my time here so incredibly rewarding and it would be impossible to make a list and talk about all of you the way that you deserve to be praised. And I have zero graphic talent as you all know by my constantly enlisting Madison to make gifs for me, including the ones above, so that takes care of the latter option.
Instead, I really just want to issue a blanket thank you to everyone that has received Aurora so well and been so kind to me. There have been so many people that take the time to send a kind message and I truly appreciate it. I have been tremendously lucky by having all of you lovely people, especially the ones that I talk to on a daily basis, in my life. A lot has changed for me since I started this blog, for one thing, when I started writing Aurora I was still in law school and now I’ve graduated, passed the bar, gotten to work for a judge that I admire, and will be working full time at a law firm in September. For those that just followed and didn’t know those things, hi!, welcome, here’s what you’ve missed. You all have made this such an enjoyable place for me to be with my free time and I cannot thank you enough for that.
I have met some of my closest friends on here, people that have gotten me through all of the stress that comes with what I’ve been working toward, and have been there to celebrate my accomplishments. As toxic as tumblr and fandom can sometimes be, I have been very fortunate to carve out a little niche for myself which has surrounded me with people who have been an endless source of encouragement and support. Even those of you that haven’t reached out, knowing that you follow and keep following is a reminder that there are people out there that enjoy what I throw out into the void. You’ve all stuck around. Whether you’ve made it a point to reach out, sent a nice anon, or simply kept me on your dash because you liked what I posted but were too shy to say ‘hello,’ you’ve stuck around.
Thank you to all of you who have joined me in exploring my little under-appreciated disaster daughter and shared in my love for her.
