I’m reading a story that mentions a band of which I’ve not heard. I google it to see if it’s real. It is. Hmmm. And it’s playing in a town near me in just two weeks.

My brain, first thought: I wanna go.

My brain, second thought: I wonder what kind of music they play?

My brain, third thought: Hmmm. Maybe it would be cheaper and easier to call up a video on YouTube or something to see if I even like their music before I buy tickets, rent a hotel room for the night, make arrangements to take off work and then make the drive there and back.
