Scar and a Pesky bird
Art commissions??
Money is tight and I want to improve at drawing.
Right now I suck at it.
So here's the deal.
Cheap crappy drawings!
We will draw you almost anything!
For 5€ a per character/person/animal we will draw you whatever you want!
(If you want a fancy background I might need to charge 2€ extra but I'll do that case by case)
Will it look horrendous? Yes!
Will it be cheap? Yes!
And you will also get the nice feeling of helping me pay my rent and groceries!
Here are some examples of what your commissioned artwork might look like!
This or much! Much! Worse!
But hey! It'll be cheap!
Right now I can only take payment through PayPal, but I might see about getting Kofi in the future!
Dm me if you're interested???
Question for hermitblr, or at least the part who has read From the Archives: do I need to have listened to The Magnus Archives in full before reading, or can I go in with no knowledge and still follow along just fine? I really want to read it but don't want to be lost if there's a bunch of stuff that I don't understand from TMA.
There's a beautiful kind of fracture in realising that Grian - the guy with the most amount of Plot Armour - gravitates to those most often doomed by the narrative.
And it ends the same, every time.
I think if you pick Grian up he stretches infinitely like a cat
Yk what I just realized? I wish I could write Grian as a villain. Because he *is*
No matter where, if there's conflict, Grian is the villain.
Turf war? Villain against a very reasonable thing that he even ended up agreeing with I'm the end, saying it was just for the principle.
3rd life? Watch Martyns pov and try to tell me again he isn't the villain.
Last life? Killed off 2 of his own team members just because. Right after the other.
Double life? Followed and expanded on the chaos that Scar brought on. (This one is imo the least villain behaviour he has ever shown in conflict)
Prank war vs doc? He escalated that. Docs prank were all small scale, and grian escalated. More and more and more.
Lim life? Do I even have to explain this?
Grian is the villain, he *enjoys* being the villain.
And yet, I can't write him as such because he's a skrunkly and I love writing tragic heroes.
I just saw this post by @sand-disease and then I instantly had to think about this post by @good-chimes and gosh I have thoughts.
Read both of these post I beg you.
It's true, something about teaming with Scar makes grian want to create something nice.
When he teamed with the southlanders or the badboys, he couldn't care less about his base being visually appealing.
But in secret life, for the first 3 sessions and the majority of the 4th, he was alone, teamed with noone. And suddenly, he hates everything he creates, enough that he burns it down. He wouldn't even have thought about that in last life or limited life.
Something about Scar makes Grian want to create something nice, something about having company at all makes him able to just create anything. The second Grian is alone, he cannot create at all.
Do with that information what you will.
Mayor Scar takes a bow (he's so pretty)
