Question from someone who’s been in the fandom for a while (engaged with fanfic/fanart/headcanons), but is only now starting the books

The explanation for demigods having dyslexia is that their brains are hardwired to Greek/Ancient Greek, right? But I think I remember reading somewhere that Percy either doesn’t speak Greek/speaks very little of it

Again, I read this a while ago, so I might be wrong or there might be an explanation, but… idk it just doesn’t make sense to me for their brains to be adapted for reading a certain language but not speaking it

So yeah please let me know if I’m wrong or if there’s ever an explanation, I’m just very confused 😅
