so i finally, FINALLY, got into the owl house. i can't believe i didn't watch this show sooner, it's SO good! also,

if i had a nickel for every time i had a favorite character who:

has chronic eye-bags

has the nickname "little prince"

sports a triangle symbol on their person to signify their loyalties

later abandons said loyalties when they wake up and realize how toxic everything is

has a mentor-figure that's focused WAY too much on sacrifice/death

(edit) AND has a whole "i must be useful" complex

(edit x2) ANDDD the first friend they’ve ever made dies and/or gets severely injured right in front of them

i would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice right

Honestly just “This is a man who pulls back before crushing a weed” is a really nice small way to expand an established character which YEAH this one line doesnt tell you alot of new things abt Kaladin’s character because what would at this point, but i think just the “even though he doesnt even consider the weeds ‘real’ plants and is in an unfamiliar environment, he still takes the time not to destroy things, even small things like actual literal weeds” reestablishes that Kaladin is just genuinely a good person

Ok im done back to WHAT THE HELL SZETH??? 😭😭😭😭 kaladin was soooo patient abt it too me, personally, i wouldve just killed him again
