After the Battle of Sixty Three Nineteen:
Five days into my leave and I’ve written so little. Because I’m realising I was exhausted. I’m flaring. I have no mental energy for creation at all!
how I think Roxas n Sunny would draw each other :)))
Roxas added the highlighter too early and smudged the pen..
So, like...What does The Knight even want? It's definitely not simply "To cause the Roaring". That would be trivial, at this point. They could do it somewhere we wouldn't even find out about. Or at least not even be able to do anything about. Somewhere that has a Dark World but we can't- The Bunker, they could do it in the Bunker.
In fact, they seemed to wait until the heroes arrived before calling in the Titan. Almost as if they wanted us to beat it? Or perhaps to see if we could beat it. Which we probably couldn't, if not for Gerson Ex Machina.
But of course, what is there to even be gained by causing the end of the world?
I'm also unsure about any theories that the Knight (and by extension, the Shelter Group Chat) intends to fulfill the prophecy. For the simple fact that, well...
The Heroes kinda win? We're very focused on The Tragedy and what it will be about, but don't forget (heh) that it's not the last panel. At the very least, they save the worlds (at great cost), so if the Knight wants to cause the Roaring, they are by definition against the prophecy.
But even if they're not, the prophecy explicitly states that they oppose the heroes, then ??? and the worlds are saved. One must presume that doesn't end well for our darkened deer.
So what do they want? I can see two possibilities, one which definitely opposes the prophecy, and one which at least partially follows it.
The Knight wants to cause The Tragedy
This is the only scenario where I can see them following the prophecy. And even then, only to fulfill that end, and not particularly caring about anything else along the way. If they could do it without causing the Roaring, they would.
But...Why? We don't know what the tragedy is, but it sounds pretty damn bad. Who would want that to happen? To me that makes as little sense as trying to destroy the world (which they are, themselves, a part of, so...)
This line is inconclusive, since we don't know what the tragedy is.
That said, I doubt it's anyone sacrificing themselves (Susie words it as each individual member of the party "Won't let that happen". Sacrificing one's self is something you DO, not something that OOPSIE JUST HAPPENED), and I also don't think it's the sealing of Castle Town or end of the Dark World in general (the last panel states the worlds will be saved, plural, and also Ralsei probably wouldn't be quite so down about this Tragedy from the beginning given he didn't consider himself a person worthy of a damn BED until recently, let alone someone worth defying a prophecy in which they save the world)
But regardless, I think the other possibility is a lot more interesting...
The Knight wants to stop The Tragedy
Now that seems like something worth opposing the heroes for, no? Toby seems allergic to making entirely unlikable characters, so most likely the Knight has a good reason for what they're doing (alternatively, this is what I see as the biggest argument in favor of Carol Knight, trying to bring back Dess, though I still think the evidence for Dess Knight is stronger overall).
Whatever the Tragedy is, it's bad enough the Knight wishes to prevent it. And in that case, they would also be equally fine with the heroes winning, so long as they also avert the Tragedy.
Who's been sprinkling Shadow Crystals all over the place, again? The edgy teenager/katana-owning middle aged woman/guy with JRPG Parent's Disease, that's right.
We don't know what those are for, but there's a very real chance they're related to changing the outcome of the prophecy. I believe we'll have 3 "endings" overall: A Neutral route, the Weird Route, and Neutral + All Shadow Crystals. With the former seeing us try to avert the prophecy, and fail (or at least, not change it completely), the Weird Route changing it for the worse (see Ralsei's Weird Route exclusive dialogue at the end of Chapter 4, about "How can we know it wouldn't be something even worse?"), and the latter being our true victory over fate.
And in that case, the Knight would be a big contributor to our changing of fate, since we couldn't have done it without THEIR Shadow Crystals.
Which are conveniently hidden with the secret bosses, where only the curious players who would want to see a different outcome would be able to find them. If we lack the strength to cut our own strings, the Knight will do it their way. Or try, at the very least.
I also believe in this outcome the most for the simple fact that I'm a Dess Knighter, and from what little we know of her I cannot imagine a world in which the openly rebellious teenager wants to conform with what fate expects of them.
tl;dr: I believe the Knight wants to avert the prophecy, through their own means if necessary but ideally by having the heroes break away from it, in order to avert whatever The Tragedy ends up being.
The Shadow Crystals would be key to this, and they've been leaving them around in secret places so that we could find them, but only if we have the will to dig deeper and go against the path laid out for us.
I know I shouldn’t be surprised but I am lol
Been seeing two spectrum of opinions when it comes to Dawn Armor Silver??
The people who love it like me.
And the people who hate it.
And of course everyone is allowed their opinions and reservations, etc.
But I think some are jumping the gun a bit.
We haven’t seen the preview of the outfit for a reason and I can understand why some does not want Silver in KOD armor.
But we don’t know how it looks?? Or the colors?? Or the symbols on it? 🤔🤔
Personally I don’t mind if Silver is wearing KOD armor or some variation of it or a new style etc. I’ll love it either way. (He’s pulled of the look wonderfully in his platinum and fairy gala cards)
[and story wise, wether it is KOD armor or a variation, it has so many plot and symbolisms to explore]
Everyone who got book 7 card had new outfits/forms we haven’t seen before and I expect the same from Silver’s card. 💞💞💞
And let’s see how the story goes, I have my own feelings about the directions and certain details, and how it might head but it’s a mobile game and it can only do so much. Besides, it’s their story to tell however they want it.
And the fun part of fandom is, we can make our own lore and theories that canon doesn’t give us.
Besides, there’s always the light novel or magical archives 3 they’ll eventually release too.
And if that is not satisfactory? Then that’s what fandom is for after all. To fill in the gaps and explore and enjoy what you like about the story and make your own versions and what ifs. It’s what makes it fun. 🥰🥰
I just wanted to show some positivity for silver’s new card. I keep seeing negativity but wanted to show some love and thoughts on it 💞💞💞
dreamworks not making this into an actual scene is KILLING ME this is HOMOPHONIC!!!!!!
go into the arts. i’m not kidding. the arts are not a way to make a living. they are a very human way of making life more bearable. practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. sing in the shower. dance to the radio. tell stories. write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. do it as well as you possibly can. you will get an enormous reward. you will have created something.
