What’s your favorite album ever?

hello anon! the answer to this is very subtly ingrained in my blog’s theme, but to the careful eye, one will discern that my favorite album is, indeed, wasteland, baby!

it’s just!! it’s so brilliant, all of it. a record about perseverance on the cusp of armageddon released only A YEAR before the pandemic. about loss and love and protest, and creation, and destruction, and faith. that’s it.

you are the only person i know of on here with md who is someone with anon on. do you get muscle twitching, like, under the skin? fluttering, shuddering, and twitching under the skin? it's something i don't see a lot of people mention and i don't know that it's md all i know is my muscles have been atrophying my whole life, including in my face, and i've always gotten the twitching too

YES. There's a couple of different types of twitching I get. One is like constant vibration fluttery type feeling that my husband can feel under the skin when he touches it, and the other kinda feels like getting a bite while fishing. That kinda strong insistent tugging for just a second that doesn't hurt but is definitely THERE. In smaller spots like my thumbs, you can sometimes watch my thumb wiggle sideways in a way I can't do on purpose. The big tugs are usually when I'm upset or overdid it, the little ones are almost constant. Muscle relaxers don't seem to help this type either, I'm on the high dose of both baclofen and dantrolene and it only manages the muscle rigidity and not the vibration or tugging spasms.

Also hello! Another person with some kinda dystrophy!! Dm me if you ever need to vent or something, sounds like we have a lot of the uncommon problems in common.

#i also have my neck and stuff curl sideways sometimes but that's a big spasm and i think neurological since its triggered by certain noise #and movement
