you know i am poking fun at myself and been having a good laugh for disliking/not understanding how cinematic and cool the weeknd is musically once upon a time and retracing some, if not all, my thoughts i had over 5 years ago daily. but the cool thing about not understanding or liking something in the past is if you revisit it when you get older or in a different place in your life, your opinion always changes or you enjoy something different about it. that’s the beauty of music to me. it never changes but you do! and that’s why i’m thankful that i’m open to so much musically to be that way (thanks to my dad. i got my chaotic and old man band taste from him)
