We all agree, power-based hierarchy is all kind of fucked-up (and I always blame the Black Ajah when something is'nt right in the tower), but think about it : when they'll be Aes Sedai, Nynaeve, Elayne and Egwene will have the power to make nearly all Aes Sedai obey. That can be good. I know some Aes Sedai who will not like it.

I feel like being Black Ajah in the pre-series Tower would be fun in the way that playing Jenga is fun.

But yes, it’ll no doubt be helpful for Nynaeve, Egwene, and Elayne. But convenience for the protagonists does not a good system make. (Dictatorships are great, after all. When you’re the dictator)
