Ryan is a revelation in the role of Robert Sugden. I loved Karl Davis in the role, I still love what he did, but Ryan just elevated the character to another level when he took on the role. I’m glad I haven’t come across these negative Ryan posts that have been said to be about. I don’t know how people can’t separate their dislike of a character from the actor who plays them. I literally have never seen any negatively coming from Ryan towards fans etc, he seems a genuinely nice & thoughtful person. For example he’s very private in general, but took the time to thank people for his Birthday wishes on Twitter in Danny’s video. Even though Danny pointed out that that Ryan wanted it kept on the DL, as he didn’t want a fuss. Which was why Danny didn’t wish him a Happy Birthday on Twitter. Which is another thing. Danny & Ryan feeling compelled to do the video, because Danny was getting badgered about not wishing Ryan a Happy Birthday on Twitter. 1. Ryan is super private & doesn’t advertise his private life. 2. Danny has no obligation to wish anyone a Happy Birthday on his personal Twitter account. 3.He works with Ryan, so I’m sure he & other cast members who worked with him around that time would have wished him a Happy Birthday face to face. Why does it need to be on Twitter for us the fans to see.

I currently despise the character of Rebecca. But Emily seems super sweet from all I’ve seen of her. I don’t wish her gone from the show, to lost her job because I don’t like her character. I just wish her character to be put in storylines now with other characters & to stay far away from Roblivion from now on.

concerning the science communicator diversity: all three of the guys you named are also American. We all would like science to be objective and international, but well it isn't. Their Americanness is noticeable and sometimes rather annoying ;) and hindering to their message.
