chapter 2 was sooo good! Roy’s sooo hard on himself about keeley and about his past! Like yes he fucked up but ROY be nicer to urself :((

He’s thinks he doesn’t have rose colored glasses on but he’s looking at Keeley with rose colored glasses for sure.

I think Roy (and Jamie too) view being with Keeley as a measuring stick to how good of a person they are. Like if he was a better person he wouldn’t have fucked it up with Keeley when in reality things might not have worked with her anyway. He thinks if he was a better person they would have gotten back together. And now he’s stuck in the upside down (because of his wish) faced with his worst case scenario regarding not only Keeley but everything. And Keeley is being her helpful, caring self so it’s just reinforcing (for Roy) how much he fucked up.

But yeah, in typical Roy fashion he’s being extremely hard on himself! We’ll see if chapter 3 gets any better for him :)

I think I’m good at characterizations, and I enjoy exploring that, getting inside a character’s head.

6. Share one of your weaknesses.

I’ve never worked with a beta (or really gotten any critical feedback on my fiction writing since high school English, which was almost 20 years ago), so I think sometimes I might have a tendency to be wordier than I should, or have a tough time editing out things that maybe I should.

28. Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

This is really hard to do, because I think there are so many excellent writers in the RNM fandom, but here are three that stand out off the top of my head.

I love @ninswhimsy ‘s writing style - it’s very unique, and the way she portrays a character’s inner monologue, specifically, is very inspiring to me.

@myrmidryad has blown me away with their fics. Just absolutely unparalleled world building - Shadow Work remains one of the best pieces of entertainment I’ve read in a long time. I wish I could write like that and plot like that!

I also love the way @beamirang writes, particularly her ability to write in a nonlinear fashion and drop little plot breadcrumbs along the way.

I wanna write another pathetic letter expressing my love to all of you, so bare with me, please!

The reaction I got to “The girl who cried wolf” is absolutely insane and I can’t really believe so many people liked it 😭 Thank you, thank you, thank you, wonderful people! It was hell of a ride to write (thanks to my pixie @bringmethehorizonandpizza for hyping me all the way through) and I couldn’t be happier with the result and the feedback!

I’m going to focus on writing the next chapter of my Cal masterpiece fic “Blame” later this week, but I do have a strong feeling we’ll see Alpha!Cal again 😈

I’m still in the middle of my Followers Celebration Week and gonna spend half of today and tomorrow working on requests. The bigger one and blurb requests take a little more time, sorry for making you wait and thank you one more time for sending asks! Also, the most insane news is that as far is that Celebration was of reaching 200 followers, I’ve almost 300 by now (sick!), so if you wanna send more request, just do it! I think I can expand the Celebration to the next weekend.

A bit of an apology: The volume starts out low in the beginning but then it gets louder as it progresses. I tried to fix it, but that’s just how it is >.<;;

If you haven't guessed it, that is Rev!Dipper and Will.

Although, in this situation, I'm kind of making it a reincarnation AU. (It was originally a vampire billdip au reincarnation thingy and I am still digging that idea...but idk! Let me know what you think! i could use outside opinions!) 

Rev!Dipper, aka Mason, got too greedy with wanting more knowledge and power, and he inevitably took things too far, causing an accident of sorts. Will is now waiting for his return, though it's been centuries so to speak. And well, too many years in isolation can sort of mess you up a lot and because of that, he's sort of become "Bill Cipher" if you will. Haha...

And spoilers, Mason does come back :) as normal Dipper. maybe...

Like I said, it is a work in progress, so the plot holes are still being filled. Any who, enjoy :D

I’ll be getting my first paycheck from the new job tomorrow! Sort of, inasmuch as this part-time online transcription thing has “paychecks” at all. But in any case, I’ll be seeing my first dividends. It’s still really, really slow-going (I check for work every few hours but usually none is available), but I’m approaching the point where I can apply for a special team, which should allow me to rack up more hours. It’s not much, but it feels really good. Even if I know it’s a baby step, it’s a step, and I’ve needed that so badly. To feel useful. Contributory. Even if this first payout will barely pay for a few groceries or some summer reading. It’s something.
