honestly atv? had some good potential. mc whos the pilot of a spaceship? bombass ils? cool interesting world to explore? piles of different and interesting species? yeah. but they shot themselves in the foot with the plot. playing as ur siblings? they should have known how that was going to go down because of roe. “the ship is in peril! have a ball :)” and they ended (well hiatused it) when it got interestingish. the capital has been blown up? a traitor! oh. and then in like chapter 3 or 4, pax mentioned ~~~the void~~~ and how its a myth or whatever and that was It. never mentioned again. we know so little about the world, the species, culture, technology, why the fuck there is a war........ like atv had such promise and i actively forget that book even exists.
