I cannot tell you how often I think about the golden bird. Everyday. All the time. I am obsessed!! The story is the most soul wrenching thing I’ve ever read, and the way it’s just so well thought out, it’s like. how are you so good at writing? i mean, i know you had to put in a lot of work and write a lot to get to where you are now, but your skill is so far away from anything I could ever hope to do, i'm just so impressed. for example, that annoying servent that tris orders around. bins i think! he has been on screen for such a little amount of time, but i feel like he still has distinct character traits. naggy, bitter from being ordered around by slaves, condescending. i don't know, it just seems that even though he is a side character of a side character, he is not empty. All of your characters have life! Now that i'm thinking about it, is he dead? He probably died from redditch being taken over. hmm, i didn’t think about that. well. rip bins, i guess. anyway, thank you for sharing your awesome writing!
the idea that my writing is on someone's mind is just so fucking COOL. i am so grateful to have you as a reader <3
also, please don't think you can't become the writer you admire. seriously. when i first read "the line of beauty" i was cast into absolute depression because i thought (and still think) it's a perfect book, completely seamless, and i had no idea how a human being could have written it.
then i went back and read all alan hollinghurst's books in chronological order and realized that he'd been trying to write "the line of beauty" for twenty years. his first novel, "the swimming pool librarian," is bad. it's so bad. it tries to do so much of what "the line of beauty" achieves seemingly effortlessly and just falls absolutely flat on its face.
this is not to say tgb is anywhere near "line of beauty" in terms of quality, but it's exponentially better for having been rewritten from scratch twice.
anyway. binns! not only is he not dead, he's going to make an appearance in chapter 47 (which is told from Tris's pov). i'm excited to hear what you think!
Me, writing a scene between Annabelle and Constance: Hmmmmm. Might be too aggressive.
Also me, remembering how Constance treated Travis: NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH!
What's your profession? :)

Hey, loved all your work in HP fandom, you definitely are an unique writer! I have a soft spot for Unravel Me and probably you get this question a lot and I definitely don't want to add pressure, just wondering if it's in the cards for Chapter 6 this year?
Ahhhhhhh, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so glad that you've enjoyed my work. I actually don't get the question so often anymore, considering it's been...over a year since I've updated (approaching a year and a half, eep). The short answer is yes, it should be in the cards that Chapter 6 (and hopefully more) will be posted this year.
Longer story is that I've been clearly stuck for multiple reasons: 1) real life, 2) I was trying to adhere to my original outline just wasn't working, 3) fear that whatever I write now won't be nearly as good as what I've written before, 4) I've been sucked into another fandom (Miraculous Ladybug), and 5) I've been pretty disengaged with the Harry/Ginny community since Tumblr activity has gone down, and it's my main way of engaging outside of writing.
However, I'm in a much better space than I was when I last wrote Chapter 5. I've started writing again, slowly following The Artist's Way and making time to be creative again though mostly on original content. I worked through a new, better outline for the story though. I even spent an hour on Chapter 6 yesterday. I'm still not sure where I am in terms of writing a lot of Harry/Ginny overall (with my languishing other WIPs), but I do very much want and intend to finish Unravel Me, even if it's painful. I want to finish. That in itself will be a big step for me as a writer.

Distress Call - Chapter Three
Years ago Robert Sugden ran away from the hills of Yorkshire to the shores of Whitby. Years ago Aaron Dingle left a bottle in the ocean with a haunting message inside. A discovery, a misunderstanding and something that feels a little bit like fate brings them together. It's up to them if they'll stay that way
