CC, in love, is the perfect mix of paranoid and mentally lazy.

He ALWAYS knows something is up, but he never has the strength to investigate. And it's funny because he's always right, but verifying his fears is just too much of a hassle so he crosses his legs and waits for people to come clean.

He knew WSW was sus from day 1. Knew he was playing him, somehow. Didn't bother to find out more about this guy that he wants to fuck so desperately.

GCY knew about YY in 2 seconds. WS showed up in ep15 and found out about YY BEFORE CC.

He suspected the threat on LJ's life had something to do with WSW but if those men hadn't attacked LJ and WSW hadn't gone to save LJ, CC would never have brought it up.

He knows WSW is a liar and a schemer and yet, he's just walking headfirst into the manipulation because he doesn't have the energy to care. This man turned off his brain for romance. If anything, I'm sure he's annoyed whenever it starts to say, "watch out. error. that piece of information doesn't add up."

My guy just wants to fuck and be domestic, after years of being a toxic piece of shit.

Side note: he's only ever vigilant when he senses competition. WZ and JZS are evidence of this.
