so i’m very clearly into alana’s harry potter verse lately and i thought i’d give you guys the lowdown;
alana was born in 1960.
alana’s family are pure-blood wizards. they were killed the summer of her second year at hogwarts; 1972, by dark wizards.
alana started hogwarts
alana was sorted into gryffindor when her entire family were ravenclaws.
lily evans was one of alana’s best friends growing up.
alana begun training to become an auror as soon as she possibly could, and successfully passed all the tests.
she was still in training to become an auror when she joined the order of the phoenix to fight against the dark wizards and the rise of lord voldemort and fought bravely in the first wizarding war.
after that alana became one of the most successful female aurors the ministry had seen in quite some time, and proved herself time and time again.
after a couple of particular hard bouts being an auror alana reached out to albus dumbledore asking if the offer he made her during the first wizarding war (he told her any time she wanted she could come and teach defense against the dark arts) still stood
it was in 1993-1995 that she taught muggle studies and apparition at hogwarts, the post of defense against the dark arts already been filled by old school friend remus lupin and fellow auror alastor moody.
1995 alana rejoined the ministry of magic as an auror, as well as joined the order of the phoenix for a second time to fight in the second wizarding war.
after the second wizarding war alana joined back up with the ministry of magic and also received the offer to come to teach at hogwarts as defense against the dark arts professor any time that she wanted to.
