Whhhyyyy would you have a Sylvan elf use Quenya though? That is not their language. It has never been their language. Quenya is the language of the Noldor. Of Valinor. Of the other Calaquendi. It was specifically outlawed by Thingol (which I think was . . .. dumb but that’s a different rant that goes into all the elves in the Silmarillion behave badly). There are a number of historical, political, cultural, geographical, economical reasons WHY a Sylvan elf in the 3rd age of common lineage would not speak Quenya. Heck, when Galadriel sings in Quenya, Frodo, who spoke Sindarin, can’t understand her and has to figure out the translation after the fact. Furthermore, it’s rather odd to have Prayer/ Healing by a Sylvan done in Quenya. They’re a people who lived for thousands of years apart from the Calaquendi, wouldn’t they have their own prayers and healing songs in their own language?

(to be fair “ Menno o nin na hon i eliad annen annin, hon leitho o ngurth. ” does appear to be mixed Quenya/ Sindarin to me. . . . but that just makes less sense to me. . . . . . maybe if it was coming from someone w/ origins in Imladris or someone close to Galadriel who is you know . . .actually Noldor, and even she doesn’t use her Quenya names anymore!)

(and I also raise a bit of a brow at the “forged by my kin” subtitle from Legolas)
