anyways one of my favorite recurring patterns i have noticed throughout the series:
percy with a healthy amount of sleep: watches out for a 10y/o nico during his first day at camp because he wants to be a Nice Counselor. apologizes to Leo about calypso being stuck on her island (which. wasn't even remotely his fault considering he explicitly asked for her to be freed and the gods just straight up ignored him!!) refuses to control a naiad's river even though it could save all his friends because he doesnt want to inconvenience her. hesitates to kill a hellhound because it reminds him of Mrs. O'Leary. is described as approachable and kind if a bit awkward, gives annabeth a hug because theyve been fighting, feels bad for dionysus (who tried to kill him 30 seconds ago) because of his Depressing Backstory. forgives luke for trying to destroy the world multiple times
percy who has not slept in the past 24 hours: tries to stab nico on sight. impulsively jumps into the styx (don't ask, there was a contextual reason he swears!!!) accuses leo of being a traitor despite all evidence pointing otherwise. manipulates blood and suffocates akhlys in her own tears. picks a fight with jason. picks a fight with annabeth. insults dionysus. insults the spirits in the nymphaeum. apparently develops a terrifying death stare while at the wolf house. acts incredibly out of character. is Scary. mean. disaster. disaster. stop. Stop
you can’t separate transmisogyny from racism. the radical feminism movement is so overwhelmingly white because their idea of what a woman is is so thoroughly steeped in white supremacy.
my fingers genuinely hurt SO bad, I might either draw Artemis or Conner next once they recover :'D
(✨and yes she is mixed caucasian/African American in her human form, and no I will not stop drawing curly hair even if it's the most agonizing thing ever because there WILL ALWAYS NEED to be more characters with curly hair✨)

A few more headcanons about her:
Slight escapist tendencies, diehard fan of 'Hello, Megan!' just like the original
Overall style is cozy Y2K- her human appearance is basically a mix of Megan Wheeler in the show (especially in terms of clothes) with looking related to J'onn's human form
Pampers the absolute HELL out of Bioship and its sassy consciousness/AI (it's basically a family member at this point, she definitely freaked out when one of the other team members taught it how to flip villains and criminals off)
Probably ones one of those pink flip phones with all the cute keychains tbh
Has a scrapbook of all the memories she's shared with her friends and family on Earth
Her and Conner's dynamic is much healthier in this version, they're both innocent sweethearts who are major into pop culture and absolutely clueless about humanity and human social customs (she's also not the one who chose Conner's human name- Conner chose it himself)
SUPERMARTIAN BUT BOTH ARE BISEXUAL RAAAHHHHH 💖💜💙
She, Artemis and Zatanna DEFINITELY have Girls Night at least once a month
M'gann has 29 siblings back on Mars in total- 12 sisters and 17 brothers (canon)
Considers Garfield Logan (Beast Boy) her adoptive brother, which makes 30 siblings in total (also canon)
Has an entire book on human anatomy- both to learn more about humans and to try and learn how to shapeshift and mimic others' forms better
Still incredibly insecure about her appearance even after her confession to the team, and suffers intense body dysmorphia despite her ability to shapeshift (due to also being telekinetic and aware of her naturally being a White Martian.) It takes her a while to reconnect with Martian culture and to lessen her own self-hatred towards her own body.
Very much has trauma from being discriminated against back on Mars
Fun fact- Conner DOES freak out a bit when M'gann reads his mind/telekinetically contacts him without permission- but since he's not angsty or brooding in this AU, he calms down a few minutes after and explains to her that reading minds can be an invasion of privacy to non-telepaths/non-Martians.
