There are so many pieces of media that would instantly be improved if they stopped trying to make the main characters attractive
#specifically referring to a series called zombie papa but is very true in many other circumstances#like the premise is so good#zombie apocalypse starts right?#dad and his daughter try to survive and he gets given 100 chances to save them both by some god or whatever#he keeps failing over and over again#he finds a place for them to live on his second to last try (she died already he just needed to confirm he found a safe home)#last chance he gets and for some reason things have changed#so he sacrifices himself to the horde so she can escape#instead the virus turns him super human#so he’s an expert on the apocalypse#and superhuman#but#they made him go from older man to super fucking young#and ripped as hell#and his daughter is drawn not like a daughter but a love interest#super skin tight clothes and she’s like a teen or young adult I don’t remember#like she’s drawn so intentionally sexy it takes me out of it#it ruins a perfectly good story#i had to put it down it was so bad
